Amit Tikoo, CEO

The companies end up spending major amounts of their money trying to re-train employees that come out of a formal education environment- there got to be a better system where can all collaborate and have a more hands-on approach.

Entrepreneur and founder of Heraud Inc. which will provide high class vocational and long term training in India in conjunction with partners in Australia from 2013.  Amit also founded United International, a unique boutique consultancy that provides consulting and manufacturing services to various clients across Australia in the field of sheet metal and plastics injection moulding. In his career of over 14 years, Amit has worked with large corporates like National Australia Bank,Department of Human Services - State Government of Victoria and Sensis on their efficiency and operational excellence.

Being an engineering graduate from one of the best Indian University and having studied in Australia for his Masters education, Amit noted the stark difference in the education systems & has a very keen interest ever since in taking the Australian education model to India and bringing an education revolution in India to produce skill specific, industry relevant and ready workforce for the Indian markets.

Heraud Schools has great potential to be a key player in Indian’s vocational training market. With over 5 years experience in the Australian organisational change and training industry and broad experience in vocational training in Switzerland, I will ensure our training will make a difference to Indian organisations and students. 

Our training approach is targeted to Indian markets but based on Australian and Swiss principles and best practices, In my view this is the key benefit we bring to the table.

 

 

 

 

 

Shruti Kant, COO

There is a major gap between what industry wants, what the education institutes can provide and the type of graduates that are produced. A round table approach is the best approach.

Experienced business professional and entrepreneur with 11 years of experience in strategy, finance, operations and business development. Last worked as Managing Consultant (Strategy & Transformation) in retail sector with a top-most consulting firm. Shruti has worked in different locations worldwide before joining starting his MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), Sydney.
 
Shruti is an Electronics Engineer from one of the top colleges in India and consults to IBM India for their strategy and business development program. Shruti has a keen interest in vocational education where training courses are developed in consultation with the industry bodies and skill specific graduates are produced that are readily deployed with minimal training and development effort. Ideally he would like to see the approach like Australia where the student completes atleast 50%. of their course work hands-on.
